From Picturae Etruscorum in Vasculis: nunc primum in unum collectae, explicationibus, et dissertationibus inlustratae, by Giovanni Battista Passeri, published in Rome, Johannis Zempel, 1767-1775

Passeri (1694-1780)  was the antiquary to the Grand Duke of Tuscany and produced many works on archaeological and antiquarian subjects. The publication on Etruscan antiquities reflects Passeri's belief in the superiority of Etruscan over Greek civilization.  The classical vases illustrated in this publication were housed in the collections of the Vatican and other museums in Italy at the time.

Beautifully framed in matching blackish-red moulded frames.
