Overall in very good condition. A working design with some folds and handling wear as would be expected.

Likely to be from the Bianchini-Férier Archives sold at Christies, 2001 in Archive for Design Sale.

Bianchini-Férier, the silk-weaving manufacturer, was founded in Lyon in 1888. From 1912, the company collaborated with artists such as Raoul Dufy, Robert Bonfils, Paul Iribe and Henri Gillet to produce designs for silk scarves and fabric. The designs were inspired by nature and featured stylized flower and animal motifs with an Art Deco flair.
